Cirrus Call Centre

This is the official application form to complete if you wish to volunteer in the Cirrus Call Centre over the Telethon weekend on October 20 & 21, 2018.

Volunteer placements in the Cirrus Call Centre for Telethon are in high demand. Please note that filling in this form does not guarantee your place. Every volunteer must complete their own form and you will only be able to apply once.

Applications will close at 5pm Friday July 20, 2018.

Successful applicants will be contacted via email by Friday September 14, 2018. Unsuccessful applicants will also be advised at this time.

TEAM APPLICATIONS
If you would like to be placed on the same shift as your friends, please create a team name and ask all of your friends to use this team name when filling in this form. Please make sure you all spell the team name the same! We will endeavour to place you all on the same shift. Each person that would like to be part of your team must fill out this application form.

T-SHIRTS
It’s a requirement that all successful Cirrus Call Centre volunteers purchase and wear a specific Telethon Cirrus Call Centre t-shirt for their shift. T-shirts cost $22 inc. GST each. By completing this application form you agree to purchase your t-shirt, should you be successful in securing a shift.

PARKING
Please note that complimentary parking may not be provided to you during your shift.  We encourage all volunteers to use public transport where available.

SECURITY AND PRIVACY
Applicants with a recent National Police Clearance will be looked upon favourably and moved to the top of the list. To maintain the integrity and security of the Cirrus Call Centre, Telethon or SevenWest Media may carry out background checks on the identity of Cirrus Call Centre volunteers. By submitting this form you are agreeing to Telethon or SevenWest Media using the information provided to carry out background checks.

In the Cirrus Call Centre credit card transactions are processed through an online donation system. In the instance the donation system is unavailable, a donor’s name and phone number only are to be recorded on a supplied form and a call back will be scheduled to finalise the donation transaction. No other personal details are to be written down under any circumstance. Please tick the box at the bottom of the form to indicate you understand and agree with the policy and procedure. Non-compliance will lead to your entry rights to the Cirrus Call Centre being revoked.
