Telethon will be going ahead at a new location and in a different format in 2020.
2020 has been an extraordinary year. In Australia we saw devastating bushfires early in the year, which made way for the devastating worldwide pandemic of COVID-19. The ongoing effect of border closures, social distancing, and then a second wave on the east coast has meant we’ve had to make some big changes to Telethon. But, the 53 charities that Telethon supports each year, and thousands of Western Australian children and families need Telethon to go ahead.
The Telethon Live show this year will be held at Crown Theatre over two nights on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th October, and broadcast live on Channel 7.
The show will be an exciting new format, and the focus will be on, as always, raising money for the kids of WA.
Tickets will be sold in accordance with Stage 4 regulations and are available now.
