The Rob Broadfield Dinner for Telethon at Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa hosted by Hawaiian was held over the weekend of October 5 & 6, 2013 and raised $111,000 for Telethon.
Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa was delighted to partner with The West Australian’s food writer, Rob Broadfield, at the 2013 Telethon Dinner with this year’s special guests, Guillaume Brahimi and Adriano Zumbo.
This unique Telethon event was an exclusive weekend getaway with part proceeds benefitting Western Australia’s favourite charity.
Around 70 guests flew a private charter flight form Perth to the luxurious setting of Cable Beach Club Resport & Spa in beautiful Broome.
Rob, Guillaume and Adriano hosted sunset cocktails on the Okari Deck before a five course degustation menu in The Club Restaurant. During the weekend Adriano Zumbo held a private master class on how to make the perfect macaron.
There was style and elegance from international designer Aurelio Costarella hosting a high tea and relaying stories of who has worn his designs plus a showcase of Aurelio’s spring summer 13/14 collection during the Sunday fundraising lunch.
Two auctions over the weekend raised an incredible $111,000 for Telethon.
