The Channel 7 Telethon Trust is pleased to announce the appointment of Marie-Anne Keeffe to the new role of General Manager. Ms Keeffe is an experienced leader in the media industry, with considerable expertise in the not-for-profit and charities sectors.
Chairman of the Telethon Trust Mr Kerry Stokes AC said that Ms Keeffe’s appointment will help steer Telethon to new heights.
“We’ve got a big year ahead of us, and we’re confident Marie-Anne will help us raise another record total in 2018. Importantly, she’ll strengthen our very deep connection to the West Australian community.”
Marie-Anne has had a wide and varied experience in media, starting her career at Radio 6PR, after which she joined 7 Perth’s Today Tonight where she has worked as a producer. After establishing her own business, she became a consultant to many top-end companies, advising on media training, strategy and marketing.
Marie-Anne says it’s an honour to take on this new role.

Together with the extraordinary team and backed by the incredible generosity of the people of Perth, I am very excited to continue the Telethon dream of raising millions for medical research projects which change the lives of WA’s children.”
Ms Keeffe will commence on Monday, 12th February.
