Lunch at Leeuwin raises $100,000

MAY 5, 2014 The fourth annual Sunday Lunch at Leeuwin raised an outstanding $100,000 for Telethon.

Guests enjoyed a sumptuous 3 course lunch with award winning Leeuwin Estate wines on Sunday May 4 where Denis and Tricia Horgan hosted the Telethon fundraising event at Leeuwin Estate.

A HUGE thanks to Network Aviation who kindly flew guests down and back on the day and South West Coach Lines who also make the day even easier by transferring guests from Busselton Airport to Leeuwin Estate and back again on their lovely coaches.

Multiple auction items which were donated to the cause were up for grabs on the day including a Silks dining voucher to the value of $500, Kailis Tranquillity French hooks with white diamonds, Sam Broadhurst’s painting – “Redgate Morning” and a tantalizing seasonal degustation lunch for six guests inclusive of perfectly matched wines valued at $810 Kindly donated by Denis and Tricia Horgan. Leeuwin Estate also kindly donated several bottles of their finest wine for guests to bid on.

All in all, a fantastic day had by everyone thanks to Denis and Tricia Horgan and their team at Leeuwin Estate, Hugh Davin and his team at Network Aviation, Perth Inflight Catering for the treats on the flight and the team at South West Coach Lines. All of the above companies went out of their way to absorb all costs from this event, so total proceeds from the event came to Telethon.
