Polo in the Valley 2015 a huge success for Telethon

SUN APR 19 Polo in the Valley 2015 was another huge success for Telethon and Youth Focus with Peter & Debra Prendiville handing over a cheque for $150,000 to the two charities today.

Over 200 guests paid $265 each to be in the Telethon Adventurers Marquee and mingle with stars from 7 Network shows who flew in to join in the fun of the event. Nic Westaway and Johnny Ruffo from Home & Away, along with Katherine Hicks from Winners & Losers mingled, chatted and posed for selfies with guests.

Telethon Adventurers Ambassador George Houvardas (Carbo from Packed to the Rafters) also posed for a selfie or two along with WA’s contestants in 2015’s My Kitchen Rules, Kat & Andre and Eva & Debra as well as Carole & Russell from 2014’s House Rules and Sally & Tyson from 2014’s Amazing Race Australia.

Over 2,000 people were at Polo In The Valley.

The Telethon Adventurers raised $20,000 through a raffle that saw someone win Business Class airfares with Qatar Airways to anywhere in the world plus $2,500 to spend on accommodation from Flight Centre.
