JUL 10, 2014 The WA Sports Federation and Channel 7 have created an opportunity to raise funds for Telethon at junior sporting clubs across WA.
The Shake a Tin for Telethon campaign, along with raising funds for Telethon, aims to promote the sense of ‘kids to support kids’ where children are able to appreciate what they’re able to do and what other children miss out on – they’re giving back to sick kids who have had to give up their sport.
Ambassador and former West Coast Eagles coach, John Worsfold says “There’s been a few cold Sunday mornings, and sometimes we complain about it, but for others, it’s the least of their worries.”
Shake a Tin for Telethon hopes to raise up to $25,000 for Telethon on the 26th & 27th July.
