2022 Telethon Family Festival

The Telethon Family Festival presented by Coles is on Sunday, October 23 from 10am - 4pm.

We're bringing the Perth CBD to life!

This year marks the third time the Telethon Family Festival presented by Coles will run but the first year it will be in the CBD.

We're taking over the city with a massive street festival of family fun from RAC Arena to Wellington Street right up to Yagan Square.

And with FREE public transport across the network on Sunday, October 23 there is little reason to bring the car with trains and buses taking you directly to Telethon and the Family Festival spectacular.

Join us from 10am - 4pm on Sunday, October 23!

Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for all the event updates.

Free rides and amusements

Enjoy the free carnival rides supported by Lotterywest which will include some familiar favourites such as the dream swinger, dodgem cars, cup & saucer, fiesta balloons and the runaway train.

Have a go at the plate spinning, hula hoops and juggling or if something active is more your thing why not visit the NRMA Insurance Cricket Activation and have a go a bowling.

There is an inflatable zone, fit with bouncy castles and the infamous radical run obstacle course or pick up a showbag and head to the Lotterywest Chill Out Zone to rummage through.

You’ll feel like a kid in a candy store with the abundance of festivities around.

Getting there

With free public transport all day everyone is encouraged to catch a train or bus to get to the event. There are plenty of City of Perth car parks nearby, but underground parking at RAC Arena is unavailable.

Perth Station and Perth Underground are just a short stroll from RAC Arena for those taking the train, while Perth Busport is also close by the event.

Leave the car at home, jump on a free bus or train and join the fun. There will be boosted services on the day, with more six car trains in service to get you to and from the city.

There is 3-hour free parking options at CPP carparks including Cultural Centre, His Majestys and Pier Street with Elder Street expected to be in high demand.
