New MRI for Perth children from Telethon

JUL 2, 2015 The Minister for Health Dr Kim Hames today officially launched a new multi-million dollar MRI at King Edward Memorial Hospital.

The new MRI will be used jointly by King Edward Memorial Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital. Minister Hames indicated it would cut down waiting times for paitients at PMH and King Edward Memorial which are currently sitting at 3 months. This new MRI is also faster, which means less stress on kids and babies getting scans.
